A necessary Evil
The use of digital printing in many industrial applications requires the addition of binders, with sufficient film forming properties, in the digital ink formulations to obtain acceptable performance in terms of fastness to water, rubbing or scratch.
Good film forming binders are usually connected with high risk for the printheads: they may clog irremediably if film formation takes place inside the nozzles. That is a common fear among the digital ink formulators, that refrains them to use high performance binders in a light-hearted manner.
Evil turns to Angel: ESAJET Re-Soluble “Digital” Binders
To enable an easier fusion of applicative performance and printhead safety, we have developed the ESAJET “Digital” binder range, based on polyurethane and acrylic dispersions. They deliver outstanding performances and a good ink re-solubility even in presence of low humectant levels.
ESAJET products are our selection for formulating water-based inkjet inks to print on textile, paper and flexible films of all kinds of natures (PP, BOPP, PET, BOPET, PVC, PA).
